Unless you have been living under a rock, I’m sure you have heard of the YETI travel mug. I received my first YETI mug as a gift, and to be honest, I knew nothing about the cup before I got it. All I knew was that it was notorious for being expensive. I had always wondered why YETI travel mugs were so expensive? Was it worth the price?
Based on my experience with other travel mugs I assumed the YETI was all hype. With a lot of great marketing and the allure of a hefty price tag, I thought it was gimmicky and probably wasn’t any better than my trusty old Starbucks mug. So, with that in mind, the YETI I was gifted sat on my shelf for about two months before I used it. One day, I left my Starbucks mug in my car and was in a hurry, so I grabbed the YETI.
With each passing sip, I became more blown away by the temperature of my coffee. I stopped drinking it for enjoyment (and much needed caffeine) - this had turned into an experiment.
How long would this stay hot? Every 15minutes, I would take another sip. I was noting the time.

1 hour: just as hot
1.5 hours: yep, hot!
2 hours: HOT
After about the 2 hour mark, my Starbucks mug officially went into retirement. I was hooked.

The YETI travel mug is great gift for everyone and anyone. Due to its incredible ability to keep beverages cold and hot, it makes it the perfect water bottle too. This is a product that I personally use on a daily basis. I love it as it keeps my coffee hot for a long time, it's durable and available in a variety of colors or sizes.
